Tampa Bay's Premier Regatta — Commodore's Cup 2026
Mark your calendar for May 29–30, 2026, and join Tampa Sailing Squadron for our annual Commodore's Cup
Regatta, hosted at TSS's home
in Apollo Beach. Racing takes place on the beautiful open waters of Tampa Bay, north and west of Apollo
Beach and south of MacDill Air
Force Base – some of the finest racing grounds on Florida's Gulf Coast.
Classes include Spinnaker, Non-Spinnaker, Racer-Cruiser,
Cruiser, Pocket Cruiser, and Multihull, for WFPHRF boats and an Assigned Rating Class (ARC) for novice
racers and cruisers who want to test their skills in our inclusive "Mother Lode" class.
This is the perfect event for both seasoned club racer and the more casual sailor alike.
Early registration is just $75 – includes a regatta shirt and Saturday dinner ticket – if
you sign up by May 14. Late registration is $85.
The weekend is as much a celebration as it is a competition. Kick things off Friday evening with
competitor packet pick-up, hamburgers,
hot dogs, and complimentary beer, followed by a Skippers' Meeting at 7:00 pm.
Saturday morning, a hot complimentary
full breakfast will be served at 8:00 am. The first warning signal for racing is at 10:00 a.m.
After the racing stay for the afternoon social, a sit-down dinner, and a full awards ceremony by 7:30
p.m. This is Tampa Bay sailing at its most spirited.
