About this event
Come for the race and enjoy the unique Tampa Sailing Squadron hospitality. The Pilar Rum sponsored event has both Windward/Leeward and Random Leg racing. The PRO will be National Race Officer & National Judge, Warren Collier. So come meet the man who also produced the US Sailing videos for Racing Rules of Sailing 2025-28.
The hospitality starts at 17:00 on Friday with our grill team preparing their special burgers & hot dogs; free beer is available to accompany registrant race packet pick up and skippers' meeting.
On Saturday, hot breakfast, cooked by our members, will be available from 8:00 to 9:00 and is free for everyone, so come early! TSS is still the only club in the area that does this. After dinner the post-racing party with more free beer, after which hot dinner will be served at 18:00, also prepared by our members. Stay for the live entertainment from the fabulous R&B, reggae & ska band “Full Fledged Unit,” with the awards ceremony at 19:30.

- 08:00-09:00 Fresh Cooked Breakfast: Eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, coffee, juice & more
- 10:00 Commencement of starts for Mother-Lode Class on Circle 1 on a fixed mark course. One race planned.
- 10:00 1st Warning Signal for Circle 2 One Design Racers. Multiple races scheduled.
- 10:30 1st Warning Signal for Rolling Starts for Racer-Cruiser, Cruiser and Non-Cruiser classes on Circle 1. One race planned for each class.
- 16:00 Party time
- 18:00 Dinner time
- 19:30 Awards
