About this event
Tampa Sailing Squadron and Mount Gay Rum present the 61st Annual Gasparilla Regatta. Join us for a day of windward/leeward and fixed course racing on Tampa Bay.
Registration includes a custom Gasparilla shirt and a ticket to dinner the evening of the race. Additional shirts and dinner tickets can be purchased from this Event page. Order your shirts before February 12 to ensure that you get the sizes you want. Sign up before February 13 and save $10 on race registration. Registration closes at noon on February 27.
This event is a “Clean Regatta.” Racers are encouraged to use non-single-use water bottles and recycle all appropriate items.
We recommend you read the Notice of Race before you register.

- 17:30-19:00 Racing packet pick up and free beer. Shirts, hamburgers, hot dogs and soft drinks available for sale together with complimentary beer
- 19:00 Competitors Meeting TSS Clubhouse
Saturday, February 28
- 08:00-09:00 Complimentary Fresh Cooked Breakfast: Eggs, sausage, toasted English muffins, oatmeal, coffee, iced tea, juice & more
- 10:00 Commencement of staggered starts for Mother-Lode Class fixed mark course. One race planned.
- 10:30 1st Warning Signal for Rolling Starts for Spinnaker-Long, Racer-Cruiser, Cruiser and Pocket Cruiser classes on fixed mark course. One race planned for each class.
